I’m going to guess that most people drive right by scenes like this, but they don’t see what I see; the variety of colors and textures, and the potential for a black and white rendering. After years of practice, I have a pretty good idea how such images will look as greyscale photographs. Contrary to what many believe, the heavy overcast actually works to the photographers advantage.
