This is such an old joke I’m embarrassed to use it. Embarrassed, not unwilling. If you aren’t familiar with Dorothy Parker you should do a quick search, I can promise you will find something there that will make you laugh. We could all use a good laugh these days.

    • Thank you for your kind comments. I have had this blog since 2013, and from the beginning my goal was to present a clean, simple page that emphasizes the photographs. I hope you will look back through the roughly six hundred fifty pages.

    • Well, it’s borrowed from Dorothy Parker, a witty humorist who changed the old saying from “you can lead a horse to water, but you can’t make it drink” to “you can lead a whore to culture, but you can’t make her think”. Ms. Parker was known for her sarcasm.
