Timing

I don’t believe that timing is ‘everything’ any more than I believe ‘it’s all about the light’. The soft afternoon light helps make this an appealing image; a couple hours earlier and the sun  would have been behind the blossom and this image would have a very different look.  A couple of days earlier and this blossom would not have opened yet, and the two drooping blossoms would still be at their best. And I just happened to pass by at this moment with a camera in my hand.

We don’t always get to pick the time or place to see an image, but we can choose to have a camera with us, and we can choose to take the time to look around.

Olympus OMD EM1 with 40-150mm zoom, processed in Nik Snapseed.
