It’s difficult to photograph the landscape in this part of Connecticut that doesn’t include a tree or two.
After a few days of clear blue skies and warm weather we have had a return of grey skies, rain and temperatures in the forties; more like March than May. But, for all that, nature keeps time and new leaves and buds appear, daffodils and tulips bloom.
Right here, at the moment of this image however, it’s cold and to the casual observer, not very attractive. As I was photographing, one car slowed to ask if I was having car trouble; they just didn’t see any other reason to stop by the side of the road. They didn’t see what I saw.
