Gone for lemonade

imageBethlehem, Connecticut © Steven Willard

It was a beautiful afternoon. Friends, Susan Reinberg* and husband Steven, had invited me to tag along for a visit to the Bellamy-Ferriday House in Bethlehem. I walked through the gardens, but found myself drawn more to the buildings. I came across this trio of chairs that looked as though someone had just gone to fetch the lemonade before sitting down for a chat with friends.

  3. The shade dappled wall and lawn with chairs inviting us to sit down — so lovely. Too bad there was no one to bring the lemonade. Thanks for sharing the photo and the afternoon.
